All his life RJ has loved singing, but found his love for Country Music during his youth from his Grandpa.

After serving his country with the Army in Iraq he returned to Minnesota and began his singing career performing with several successful country cover bands.

RJ has shared his talent at many venues across the Upper Midwest, opening for National Acts such as Randy Hauser, Blackhawk, Montgomery Gentry, Craig Campbell, Emerson Drive, Steel Magnolia,  Phil Vassar, Katie Armiger, Wynonna Judd and Little Texas.
